David graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1976. Since then he has worked in Madison as a trial lawyer in State and Federal courts, emphasizing the defense of medical malpractice and other professional liability cases. David is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for medical malpractice defense, personal injury and alternative dispute resolution and is recognized as a "Wisconsin Super Lawyer" by Thomson Reuters. David has represented physicians, hospitals, nurse midwives, psychologists and other health care providers in many medical malpractice cases that have been successfully tried to verdict. The cases involved issues of obstetrics, neurosurgery, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, radiology, pathology, internal medicine, psychiatry and psychology among others. Todd is the president of Otjen, Van Ert & Weir, S.C. He has practiced at the firm his entire thirty-one year career. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1975, and earned his JD from Capital University Law School in 1978. Todd has specialized in medical malpractice defense for thirty years. . He has tried numerous complex medical negligence cases involving virtually all areas of medical practice. Todd is a member of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is recognized by "Best Lawyers in America" on an annual basis. For the past several years Todd has consistently been named as one of the top 50 Wisconsin Lawyers from all areas of practice in the Wisconsin Super Lawyers magazine. He is consistently recognized as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer in both personal injury defense and personal injury defense: medical malpractice.
Mike joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in January 1988. He is the Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Milwaukee office. Mr. Malone is a diplomat of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has served on the Board of Directors of the Civil Trial Counsel of Wisconsin. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Marquette University Law Alumni Association, and is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association. His professional memberships also include the Milwaukee Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin and the International Association of Defense Counsel. Mr. Malone holds the AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale- Hubbell, its highest rating for ethics and legal ability. In addition, since 2007, Mr. Malone has been selected annually for inclusion in "The Best Lawyers in America®" in the area of medical malpractice law.
Barrett is the founding partner of Corneille Law Group. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1980 and has been a civil trial lawyer for over 30 years. During that time he has tried over 200 civil jury trials to verdict. Those trials have occurred in almost every county in the state of Wisconsin and include trials against the majority of the top civil trial attorneys in Wisconsin. He has tried a substantial number of cases in the in the area of medical negligence and personal injury. In recent years, almost all of his trials have involved claims in excess of one million dollars. He has been selected as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer since 2005 and was included in the Top 50 Wisconsin Super Lawyers for the year 2010. Corneille was recently selected the "Best Lawyers in America" for Medical Malpractice Law in Madison for the 2011 edition. For this edition, only two lawyers in Wisconsin were named "Best Lawyers" in Medical Malpractice and Attorney Corneille was the only defense medical malpractice attorney selected.
